We’re currently seeking a Bilingual Logistics Specialist to join our company in Round Rock, TX. This individual will be primarily responsible for order management, inventory and logistics management, duties focused on placing order based on demand and forecasting, inventory control, arrange Domestic/International transportation; logistics solution and control cost; expanding preferred network of Domestic/International carriers’ relationships, maximizing profit by negotiating lane rates, minimizing risks and compliance management in international trade.

Primary Responsibilities:

* According to demand and forecasting, place order to supplier, work with supplier to arrange shipping schedule.

* Inventory management, control inventory to meet customer requirement and maximize sales and profit for the company

* Plan and determine most economical, timely and safe solutions for the movement of cargo, special transport items and containerized shipments.

* Coordinate with and provide support to customers and suppliers, both internal and external, to resolve transportation-related issues.

* Initiate requests for quotation (RFQs), negotiate (pricing, terms & conditions) with carriers and freight forwarders and track status of shipments through delivery. Logistics cost reduction and optimization

* Prepare Transportation Plans for assigned projects.

* Closely track and monitor shipments, monitor supplier compliance with shipping documents and specifications.

* Audit transport documentation and freight invoices.

* Support Sales by providing freight cost estimates for proposals from varied origins.

* Support the new project, focus on the international trade benefit, design the logistics strategy and provide the logistics solution

* Compliance management, trade policy update

* Assist in supplier management and customer service.

OFFICE ASSISTANT. This applicant will perform routine office tasks including, but not limited to: answering phone, electronic and/or paper filing, assist travel arrangement, follow up with due reports requested.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferable.

MARKETING / SALES COORDINATOR.  Applicant employed in this position will help launch various marketing campaigns to professionally market all its engineered products and work with our marketing team in our domestic and international offices to Include, China, S Africa, India, Mexico, Europe and S America. Engineering or manufacturing background a plus

1. Más de 5 años de experiencia trabajando con productos refractarios y otros productos metalúrgicos para la industria del hierro y el acero. A Multinational American company seeks a highly motivated  technician to provide on-site technical services to existing customers and assist to develop new customers in S. America and in Mexico.

Minimal qualification requirements are:

1. 5 plus years’ experience in working with refractory and other metallurgical products for iron & steelmaking industry. Has good knowledge about iron and steelmaking process and application of different equipment

2. Excellent communication skill, primarily in Spanish, but need to be able to speak, read and write English for reports.

3. Be able to travel for 10-15 consecutive days to different places in South America and Mexico to support existing clients.

4. This is a field work. The person needs to be in plant to monitor the performance of the products in service with our clients

5. Make and support sales calls in the designated markets as needed

Note: The person can live in any country of South America or Mexico

Salary is paid based on experience.
